Poi Piu

Poi Piu are a percussion instrument used to create a healing sound similar to the sound the Piupiu, harakeke kilt makes. They also make a unique display piece. 

Harakeke/flax, Muka/flax fibre layered natural and black Pokinikini and Piupiu strands. Braided natural and black four plait muka fibre cord with natural muka tassel. This pair of Poi Piu feature a unique black muka spiral at the top of the strands.
